You can’t get a responsive design for each and every use case:
Use cases matter a lot during development and if a design is not responsive that it cannot take into account all the use cases. The website needs to work for anyone in one situations and that any includes everything.
Your device breakpoints matter in responsive designs:
Most of the developers and designers are having their own style of developing website where they scale the resolution down to fir in particular devices. It is wrong way! If a design is claimed to be responsive then it has to be accessible across all the devices and not just a particular or specific range.
Typography gets harmed due to responsive designs:
It is one of the biggest flaws associated with many responsive websites and in most of the cases, the typographical element is not taken care of properly as the designer is more focused on the device rather than device. There are several websites that are built on the idea of responsive designs. They all provide a desktop experience to users, irrespective of what device they are being accessed upon. But in case, the user is mobile, it might take a little more time to load. But this is not the only point. If it is loading slow then not only it will lose some properties but also force the user to visit some else sites.

This is just what the Responsive designing stands for. It means design for All. This does not necessarily means that you need to literally test all your designs on each and every website available in the market. Its neither feasible nor a practical solutions.
